Teach Your Teen Generosity

The holidays are a great time to teach teens a valuable trait: generosity.

Generous people not only do good for others. They feel better about themselves for having done it.

To instill a spirit of giving, simply have your teen do it. Teens can:

• Help prepare holiday meals.
• Choose gifts for family members.
• Prepare a basket of goodies or other treats for a family in crisis.
• Run an errand for an elderly neighbor or relative.
• Donate gently-used games, clothes or books to those who can use them.
