If your teen wants help making a decision, suggest a few questions for your student to think about. Questions that lead to wise choices include:

Which choice would I be most proud of?
If someone I look up to had this choice to make, what would that person choose?
How far into the future will each option affect me?
If others are involved, am I treating them the way I want to be treated?
What will be the consequences of each option? How will I deal with the consequences?
