Working Too Many Hours at a Job Can Hurt Teens' Studies

"A little bit of work never hurt anyone." That old saying also seems to be true about after-school work. Teens can combine part-time jobs with school success—as long as they don't work too many hours.

Part-time jobs offer teens benefits from job and time management skills to income. But teens who work more than 10-15 hours a week put themselves at risk.
