Help Your Teen Overcome Common Study Hurdles
Students are individuals, and they each have their own challenges when it comes to studying. Some issues, however, are common to many students.
If your teen:
- Has trouble remembering the reading, suggest making an outline. Your teen can group material with common threads together, then study it group by group.
- Has studied but isn't sure if it's enough, making and taking a practice test can help. Your teen should write questions about the key topics, and then answer them.
- Has waited until the last minute to study for a chapter test, share a quick review strategy. Your teen can reread the introduction and the summary, and review the key terms and any questions at the end of the chapter.
