Being kind, considerate and friendly doesn't always come naturally. It's something many children must develop over time.
One way to help older elementary school children practice these values in a fun way is to let them “host” a dinner party. Hosting party exposes your child to a different set of social skills. Here are some guidelines:
The party will be an enjoyable way for your child to learn to consider the needs of others and improve social skills.
