Keep a Big Family Calendar

Has your child ever forgotten a science project until the last minute? Needed to go to an extra sports practice when you had appointment elsewhere? Put on school clothes instead of the clothes required for a field trip? Then you know how important it is to have family commitments written down in one place.

Make your family calendar Command Central, and use it to keep track of everyone's schedules.

You'll need a paper calendar with a lot of room to write everything down. Post it in a prominent location in your home so everyone can see it.
