To Boost Memory, Suggest an 'Inner Message Board'

When your child has to memorize a list of facts, explain how to make an "inner message board." Have your child imagine a message board. Next, ask your student to imagine writing the facts to remember on the board (it's easier if your child's eyes are closed). Repeat this until your child can clearly visualize the facts on the board. Later, when it's time to recall the material, your child can close eyes again and "see" what is written.
