Museums Bring Lessons to Life

A visit to a museum is a great way to keep children learning when they aren’t in school. Just talking about exhibits can get kids excited about new information and ideas.

Check out the website of a museum near you with your child. You may be able to take a virtual tour, or view highlights of the collection. Talk about what you see. Then, when you can, visit the museum itself. Your child will enjoy finding the items you discussed. Museum displays and activities can bring lessons to life.
