Volunteering Brings Families Together

When families volunteer together, they strengthen their relationships. They have a shared purpose. Children learn about caring. They learn about their community and teamwork. Why not sit down as a family and brainstorm ways to commit to volunteering?

Consider the needs in your area. Find out more about how your family can volunteer to:

• Raise awareness and support for a cause that matters to you.
• Bring meals, clothes or toiletries to a shelter.
• Spruce up a school or playground.
• Organize a food, school supply or book drive.
• Help at an animal shelter.
• Prepare or serve meals for a food pantry.
• Get groceries for an elderly person.
