Take Time to Make Time

It sounds odd, but it’s true—finding time takes time. As life resumes a more hectic state, it’s worth it to spend an hour or so reviewing and improving your family’s schedule. Kids can benefit from doing this, too.

To make the most of your time:

Study your schedule. Does it reflect your priorities? If family comes first, for example, are you spending more time with your family than anywhere else?
Change your schedule. Cut back on activities that interfere with your goals. This can be difficult, especially if it requires making sacrifices. It helps to remember that although they might not admit it, your kids would rather have more time with you than have more material things.
